Believe it or not, I have used google maps at home. Exploring the suburb of Sunshine and checking out the Sunshine campus layout. It was fun zooming in and out and trying to locate landmarks.
I had not used the street view and found it up close and personal. Although, pic is outdated as I trimmed my trees months ago! mmm

When it came to the "street view" element of Google Maps, how many searches did it take until you found something?
I didn't have much luck at first, as my home and my family's home weren't there. It was a little disappointing, as this is the sort of thing you want to see- right?
I then branched out a little further and looked for friends houses, which was a little more successful.
It's defiantely true what you say about the street view photos being a bit old... would be nice if somehow Google could date these photos in some way.
When I looked up my girlfriends place, I noticed the photo had been taken before she'd had her new driveway made- and that was some time ago.
Nonetheless, the whole Google Maps thing is very fun.
